Heya, my name is Kyle Vermeulen. I’m a video maker and digital marketer with a keen interest in UX and analytics.
I work at CBM Australia, a non-profit that works with people with disabilities in developing countries.
I was born in Detroit, Michigan, grew up in the town of Plymouth, and studied Mass Media and Communications at Calvin College.
At the end of uni, I moved to Chicago and met Team World Vision, where I worked on video, email, social and online marketing.
In 2009 I packed my Jeep and moved west to Seattle, to help design and implement a video reporting programme for World Vision USA. Using low-cost technology, we trained staff around the world to create “real time” and personalised video updates for major donors and corporate partners.
In Seattle I met and fell in love with Richenda, a stunning Dutch-Egyptian from Australia. She moved to Melbourne, and after a year apart, I joined her in Oz. We’re best friends, engaged, and looking forward to the adventures ahead. We’re thankful to be part of the community at Encore Church.
